ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
No, you need to secure your own accommodation, ideally in Podobuce or nearby. Podobuce is a small but popular place, so it's best to book in advance. If you need asistance contacting the locals, let us know and we will do our best to help you out.
You need a wetsuit (3mm - 5mm), a weight belt with weights (3-6 kg), fins, mask and a snorkel. If you are new to freediving, contact us and we will help you with choosing suitable gear.
There are usually 2 dive sessions per day, one in the morning, one in the afternoon. You can do as many sessions as you like and you only pay for the sessions you attend. If you are in good shape and the dives are not too deep, you can do two per day. If you feel that is too much, you can do one per day and even take rest days.
For each dive session we meet at the pier in Podobuce where Buda picks everyone up with the boat. We then drive for a few minutes to reach the required depth. A buoy is placed in the water with a rope and a weight attached to it. The students then take turns diving down the rope with Buda overseeing and coaching. The whole session takes around 90 minutes but the length can be adjusted to the students' needs.
The price of one dive session is 50 eur. This includes coaching, boat transfer and dive equipment. You only pay for the sessions you attend.
